Harrisonville Community Center Harrisonville began to boast the premier recreation center in the area immediately after our voters approved a quarter-cent sales tax for the Harrisonville Community Center. The building was completed in a matter of months, further evidence of Harrisonville’s commitment to families and quality of life. This 68,000 square foot facility contains a double court gymnasium with bleachers, three-lane running/walking track, six-lane pool, exercise and weight training, multipurpose community rooms and children’s party area.
