Our community’s caring relationship is seen in the greeting of one another, the number of benefit gatherings to support the less fortunate, the participation in community blood drives and the number of active volunteers for our youth organizations, senior center and food and clothing distribution centers. We have dozens of clubs and organizations drawing people together to work toward common goals and to pursue common interests. Our young people develop leadership skills and special talents through the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, Campfire Girls and Boys and Young Life. Harrisonville NETT is our broad-based community group which brings safe, fun activities to our young people in an effort to prevent the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs.
