Sponsorship Information
We are writing to announce the 3rd Annual Burnt District Festival occurring on October 5th and 6th this year. It's hard to believe it is already the 3rd year. We will continue to hold the event the first full weekend (Friday & Saturday) in October.
Your Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce is again sponsoring this event which means that each of our members are a part of this Festival for our community. We would ask that you would consider if your business or organization could financially sponsor this event as well. You will find various levels of sponsorship and what you get for your sponsorship dollars. We have chosen to keep the levels the sames as last year. The fees for all booth rentals will remain the same for 2012 as well.
We also would ask that you would consider placing a flyer/advertisement in your storefront prior to the event. This would help us tremendously by keeping our advertising costs down and keeping the public informed. We need each of our members to be a part of this festival to make it successful, whether by sponsorship, placing advertisements or renting a booth space. This is a community festival for Harrisonville and you are an integral part of it. Last year many of our local organizations such as the Lion's Club, Kiwanis, Rotary, Masons, Boy Scouts, Churches and more, benefited from the fesival by way of fundraising for their worthy causes. We will keep this the same mission for 2012.
If you have questions or suggestions, please contact the Chamber office at (816) 380-5271. If you would like to be a part of the Festival committee or as a volunteer, please let us know that also. We need volunteers for set up on Friday and to work during the event both Friday and Saturday. This Festival is a huge undertaking for our Chamber and it will be successful with the help and input of our Chamber members.
We truly value each of our Chamber member and feel a Festival benefits the entire community and all of the businesses here by bringing a crowd to Harrisonville. Local patrons and out-of-town residents will have the opportunity to see local entertainment, enjoy great fetival food, ride the rides at the carnival and watch the parade on Saturday at 11am. We encourage everyone to browse businesses and arts and craft vendors and to see Harrisonville’s history displayed all around the Harrisonville Square.
