Burnt District Festival

We will see you on the square October 4th & 5th 2013!
We are looking forward to the 4th Annual Burnt District Festival on the Historic Harrisonville Square in 2013. The Festival has something for everyone! There are vendors of all kinds, some selling their handmade art and crafts and some showing off their goods and services they want to provide you. Again there will be a carnival for the kids with activities for all ages. The Cabin will be open with historical information provided by the Cass County Historical Society. The parade will start at 11:00am on Saturday. There will be a variety of continous live entertainment on the North Stage. Both Friday and Saturday nights there will be a band in the Wall Street Entertainment Garden. This is a fun time to kick back and enjoy. And of course come hungry, and support those local organizations working hard to provide you those tasty festival time treats.
Again this year is the Grin & Bear It 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation. The event will leave from the Harrisonville Square. Also again Oats will be providing Transportation to any Harrisonville resident that needs a ride on Saturday from 8am-5pm. Call the Oats office. The Business Women of Harrisonville, Hawthorn Bank and the Harrisonville Chamber are sponsoring a "Burnt District Queen Contest". This is for ladies in 10-12 grades. They have an opportunity to win scholarship funds. The crowning will be on September 30th at the HHS PAC at 7pm.
Again Thank you to everyone for making the Burnt District Festival a huge success and we want you to be a part of 2013!
